This policy explains what information Selge Digital collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Who we are
This website is run by Selge Digital. If you have a question about this policy or your information, contact us through the enquiry form on this website.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through the forms on this website.
Book a Consultation form: your name, work email address, company name, website address (optional), the services you are interested in, a short description of your main challenge, when you hope to start (optional), and your agreement to be contacted.
Request a Quote form: the same details, plus your phone number (optional), a description of your project, the tools you currently use (optional), a rough budget (optional) and your preferred start date (optional).
Please don’t include sensitive personal information, such as health details, in the forms.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To prepare a proposal or quote you have asked for.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you about your enquiry.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing emails because you sent an enquiry.
Our reasons for using it
Where data protection law requires a legal reason, we rely on your consent, which you give when you tick the box on the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking the steps you ask for before any agreement is made. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Where it is stored and who can see it
When you send a form, your details are saved in this website’s database, which is held by our website hosting provider, and a copy is sent to our business email account. Only people working for Selge Digital can see your enquiry. Our hosting and email providers store this information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
To protect the forms from spam, the website briefly uses a scrambled, one-way version of your internet (IP) address to limit repeated submissions. It is deleted automatically within 10 minutes and is not saved with your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to respond to you and to manage any work that follows. We then delete it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not load fonts or scripts from other companies’ servers. WordPress, the software that runs this site, sets cookies only for people who log in to manage it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us through the enquiry form on this website. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
